Model E
Crafted from solid Black Walnut and assembled with furniture grade joints, The Model “E” will complement the finest monitors. The rich grain and highly refined fluted center column are sure to please the most discriminating eye. The wood stock has been carefully selected, kiln dried, cut and finished to a beautiful satin finish. Equally as stunning, is it’s sonic quality. Black Walnut, with it’s inherent density, is widely used to make the finest guitars, cellos, violins, and pianos. To further enhance the sonic attributes, Core Audio Designs has incorporated three unique features:
- Fluted front and sides as well as the open back design eliminates “ringing” effect that occur with conventional stands.
- Top plate decouples speaker with four towers lined with medium density cork.
- The center of the mounting plate has been boared with a 1-3/4″ diameter hole to further reduced unwanted resonance.
Finally, The Model “E” is finished with a Granite base in natural almond that adds girth and contrast to this already elegant stand. The Model “E” represents European Style and “Old World” Craftsmanship.
